The 3rd symposium on the Peaceful Use of Space Technology – Health (IPSPACE 2020) will take place on November 18 – 19, 2020 at three parallel main venues in the US, Europe, and China and 20 sub-venues around the world with an online and offline format, including an online exhibition, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
IPSPACE 2020 focuses on the application of space especially on pandemic monitoring, preparedness, prevention, and control. The event brings together world experts to explore civil and commercial use of space technology on human health, education, navigation, agriculture, environment protection, and finance.
IPSPACE is an annual event held in China in November every year, hosted by the International Peace Alliance (Space) (IPA), the Chinese Society of Astronautics (CSA), and the China High-Tech Industrialization Association (CHIA), supported by International Astronautical Federation (IAF), International Academy of Astronautics (IAA), International Institute of Space Law (IISL), Association of Space Explorers (ASE), International Space University (ISU), Space Foundation, and Rice University’s International Space Medicine Summit (ISMS). It aims to promote the peaceful use of space technology for the betterment of human being on earth.

Starting from the perspective of health the 2020 International Symposium on the Peaceful Use of Space Technology (Health), will include exploration of the peaceful application of space technology in global public health safety, spatial information, education, economic development and other fields. The goal is to build a global platform for academic exchanges, achievement showcasing and product trading of space technology, and promote cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises, facilitate the industrialization of innovation and application, and contribute to the community of health and shared future for mankind. A student paper/poster competition will be held, and papers/posters eligible for the student competition should be indicated as such during submission.

Please be sure to designate the topic area of your paper addresses. Please also indicate whether the abstract is eligible for the student competition. The deadline for receipt of abstracts is November 10, 2020. Letters of official acceptance will be emailed on November 15, 2020
PAPERS: Full-length manuscripts or two-page extended abstracts are due by close of business on October 31, 2020. Revisions and corrections will be accepted within two weeks after the end of the conference. The format for papers is specified on the conference website. Accepted papers (including two-page extended abstracts and poster papers) will be published on the official conference proceedings and hosted at the IAA website. Full-length manuscripts may be considered for publication in a special edition of Acta Astronautica.
